Problems after Quickrestore was used.

Hello, my pc's harddrive went bad and techs came to my house and replaced it. After they did Quickrestore it went in progress and they left. My PC had the DVD player on it and now its no where to be found. Windows Works was on here and its no where to be found. I called the techs back and they said that i have a bad Quickrestore cd and that i needed to contac Compaq to replace it and they said i should have got 2 different cd's to restore with this computer. The quickrestore and the application restore. How do i solve these problems? My floppy drive will not work either. Standard diskette drive not found.
