Replacement of Disk in Hot Swap Caddy
Hi,
I'm wanting to replace some 9.1Gb disks on my PL1600R with a load of 36Gb Quantum Atlas V's that we have lying around at the moment. Before I attempt this, can anyone confirm whether it's possible to pull the old ones from their drive caddies & replace them with the new ones ?
Do I need specific disks if I try this ?
TIA
Cartman

Re: Replacement of Disk in Hot Swap Caddy
Yes, you do need the right kind of drive, but what is the harm in trying? Without more information on the replacement drives it is hard to tell you from here.
