SC10 disks not responding
Hello All,
I have 2 L2000 servers with SC10 JBOD's attached to each server seperately. The servers and the sc10's were powered off (about 10 hrs), the systems were working just fine before that. After power up, the drives are not to be seen (rather the configured logical drive comes as OFFLINE) due to lack of quorom. There are 2 channels on each sc10 with 4 disks in each channel.
I went thru IRM and saw the status of the physical drives, it comes up as (all 8 failed)on one of the SC10's and on the other it comes as 1 failed.
Any clues what's hapenning? Did the power off create any problems,... the battery and all other conditions seem fine
PLEASE HELP !!!
THanks
KS

Re: SC10 disks not responding
sounds like the drives in the SC10's are having trouble spinning up.
1. Try reseating the power cables/supplies to the SC-10.
2. Turn on the SC-10 first, then turn on the server.
