SC10 with 10 36GB disks...
Hi,
I've got a SureStore E SC10 with 10 36GB 10K RPM SCSI 2 disk modules installed. I was going to use it as storage on a C360 workstation at home on my mess about HP-UX box, but after switching it on and thinking I was standing next to a runway at an international airport I've had second thoughts and I'm thinking of selling it and getting something else instead.
My question to you, dear ITRC'ers is this...
How much do you think an SC10 with 10 x 36GB disks is worth these days?
Many Thanks

Re: SC10 with 10 36GB disks...
By coincidence, I just got a quote a month or so ago on a used SC10 w 10 36GiB disks for $5,300 US.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Re: SC10 with 10 36GB disks...
On (fl)e(a)bay, the enclosure is $125 including fans, power supplies and controllers. And it looks like people are charging whatever they can get for the disks. I have seen insanely different prices for the disks, like one place charging $60 for 18GB disks per piece whereas another is charging $170 fr the same item. search for "hp sc10" phrase on ebay and you will see what I mean
