SCSI-->IDE interface/bridge
ACARD make some interface widgets that allow IDE (i.e. cheap PC technology) disks to be connected to a SCSI interface. As this seems a very cheap solution for development machines (i.e. test copies of fullsized production databases) does anyone have any experience of such devices?
(attach to HP9000 Unix servers?)

Re: SCSI-->IDE interface/bridge
Hi,
If i am in your place, will never try this option even for a test machine.......
In old HP9000 servers like G,D etc, HP uses the same technology for the floppy drive, which itself is a slow device....
This just for your info...
Regards,
AM
