SCSI snooping

I need to monitor the data traffic between two SCSI devices (i.e., device A talks to B, and the computer C is supposed to log the data). Can this be done?

Re: SCSI snooping

There are SCSI Analyzers available on the open market that will do exactly this for you.
I would suspect any Specialist Instrumentation company would put you on the right track.

Re: SCSI snooping

To the best of my knowledge there is no way for a (modern) standard SCSI chip to provide a passive snoop capability.

If you had a really old "dumb" SCSI chip, then it might be possible to write a driver to monitor some of the signal lines, but not with the chips used in today's systems.

Your best hope is to use a SCSI analyzer, possibly one with direct computer connectivity or program capability.
