Ultra2 hard drives

Hello everybody !
We would like to upgrade our old PL2500 server with the new hot-Pluggable Ultra2 hard drives (388144-b22)? Can we do so? Has anybody ideas?

According to the chart on page two, the Proliant 2500 only supports Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 hard drives. Not Wide Ultra3 SCSI drives.
