HP Rack Storage /12 issue

Several HDs sometimes are offline suddenly in my HP Rack Storage /12. How can I check it, I want to have the diagnostic tools to check it. Where can I get it?

hi
you can use the internal logs of the hdd to check about hdd related errors,
or you can use hddoctor to check the disks (see link http://h20004.www2.hp.com/keeper_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix65146.html at the end of the page)
or check with your HP support for errrors related to drivers or controller firmware.
be also aware avout electricals problems on the rack
