Hello,
I want to connect two switches over DWDM, but I am not able to get one Fabric with these two switches.
The Firmware on both switches is 6.2.2f, upgrade is not possible at the moment.
The Domain ID´s are different.
Is there a extended Fabric license required? I am not shure about the exact distance, at the moment I have configured the portspeed to 2Gb and portmode is LE.
When I configrure only one of these switches with these settings and the other one with the default port settings, I´ll get an E-Port on that switch with the default settings, but it is shown as segmented incompatible.
At the moment I have no idea, how to solve the problem.
Hope anyone could help me :)
best regards
andreas

Re: HP SAN Switch Fabric Merge over DWDM do not work
portcfglongdistance has to be performed at both ends of the link.
LE doesn't require a license, LD and LS does require an extended fabric license
