missing files & folders - urgent!

hey everybody i have a problem that u may b able 2 help me out...
i have almost 300 GB capacity in my storege device and in the last couple of days i've experinced a strange and most consering problem: some files & folders have been disappeard from my drive. and im perfectly sure that none of my network users didnt delet these files/folders!!!
i must know exactly why files/folders is disappearing!! i think it may have something to do with the fact that my storege reaches FULL capacity every couple of hours untill im cleaning it from unused info...
if u think im right or if u guys excperinced or heard of a this fennomenon please contact me and reply my messeage THANK U !!!
