RX5670 using ClariionX600 questions
Hi All,
I have an rx5670 running hp-ux 11.23 that was recently attached to a Dell/EMC clariion x600 solution. It was configured using Dell/EMC Navisphere Management Suite software and has a lun size of 256000Mb of available space using raid5.
Here is the dilemma; I am unable to configure the space using SAM (with and without LVM support). Is this a limitation using SAM, or with the configuration that we have?
Current hardware/software installed for this setup:
1) We have installed two A6795A fibre adapters in slots 10 and 11 on the rx5670.

Re: RX5670 using ClariionX600 questions
Could be a limitation of SAM, yes. Last time I checked LUNs from an EVA (Enterprise Virtual Array - that was handed over to HP by Compaq ;-) could not be managed by SAM either.
