if not please try to mount in manaly, if you have mounted is please umount and try swinstall again, swinstall wil mount it for you...

I suggest using swinstall -i to enter the code word and then trying the install.

put cd
mk a direcotry eg:cdrom
cdrom
mount in that mount point
swinstall -s then mount point

thanks for your reply, but i use the command line command :
mount /dev/dsk/c0t0d0 /cdrom
swinstall -s /cdrom/t... -x codeword=...
-x customer_ID=....
Unfortunately it didn't work again. I guess there should be some OS patches that made this problem,
what do you think, I am going to install a clean os and test the procedure before applying patches. will let you know what will happen

I check it on the clean system and it worked. Now I have to see which patch has made this problem for me . big headache :-((

and check out if your hostsfile has the local host in it!
