issue creaing windows vm on VMWARE through Hpe-vme . vrtio drivers or no installable drive

I'm trying to create a Windows machine on VMware using VM Essential. After VMware integration, when I start the instance, the VM fails to install because it can't find the required drivers.

I faced the same issue when creating a Windows 11 VM using KVM in Essential. However, in that case, I was able to resolve the issue by enabling the VirtIO driver during the instance creation process.

The problem now is that the option to enable VirtIO drivers doesn't appear when creating a Windows 11 VM on VMware, and I’m encountering the same missing driver issue.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hello,

Is your base virtual image an ISO or a "template" you created previously? I'm asking because the virtual hardware presented to the VM is different in VMware and in VM Essentials and this might be the key to solve your issue.
