3PAR 10000 V400 Serial connect
On the back of the node of the 3PAR V400
I'm trying to get serial access to the S0 port.
Using the Direct UTP cable + part number 180-0055 adaptor
Will it be accessible if I connect it with the serial cable of the laptop?
Previously, I tried to access the adaptor by configuring the adaptor directly with the same pin array as 180-0055 but failed.
The manual says to use a blue utp cable and a 180-0055 adaptor, does this blue utp cable have a special pin arrangement or is it a regular UTP cable?
Is 180-0055 adaptor the pin arrangement in the manual?
Please help me..

ыЛ╡ы│А: 3PAR 10000 V400 Serial connect
I have an additional question.
I found a cable with part number 850-0023 while researching 3PAR-related cables, is this the blue cable that the manual mentions?
The blue and red cables mentioned in the manual
Please help me if you know what cable each is..
Blue cable = Direct UTP cable
Red cable = Cross UTP cable
Is it like this??

Re: 3PAR 10000 V400 Serial connect
Hi sung44428
The blue Ethernet cable is used to connect the maintenance PC to the service processor using HyperTerminal through a serial connection.
Attach the DB9 female serial adapter (P/N 180тАУ0055) at the free end of the blue Ethernet cable to the Serial port (COM1) on your maintenance PC.
Note: Please contact HPE 3PAR Technical Support for further assistance regarding this.
Hope this helps.!!

Mahesh
