3PAR 8200 2N replacement

Hello,

a new customer has a 3PAR 8200 2N with 8x 3.84TB SSD and F.C. controllers, and asked  me a proposal to replace it with anew storage.

I think the better candidate is Alletra, but I don't know this system, and trying to make an OCA configuration (Alletra MP1000, Alletra 5010) results in prices that are absolutely out of reach for the project. At this point I am thinking of proposing an msa 206x

Can someone help me make a correct assessment ?

Hi,

go with Alletra B1000 and use the Starter Bundle.
And don't be scared off by the list prices in OCA.

Hi Cali,

thank you so much. At the end the customer opted for a more simple MSA2070.
