3par 8450 2node cache dimm is failing.
We are continuously receiving the message 'Data Cache DIMM 0.0.0 is failing. Correctable ECC limit exceeded' on both Node 0 and Node 1 of the 3PAR8450 storage.
In this case, if we shut down one node at a time and replace the DIMMs alternately, will there be no impact on storage performance?
It is necessary to verify whether there will be any issues with storage data usage during the operation.
Thank you.

Re: 3par 8450 2node cache dimm is failing.
Hello @yoo1 ,
During the scan, the thread detects uncorrectable errors, areas of the memory are fenced and put onto a “do not use” list.
The system will raise a service alert when the threshold of correctable errors is reached and/or memory is fenced such that replacing the
DIMM is recommended.
Controller nodes are configured in logical pairs whereby each node has a partner. In the event of a node failure, that node’s partner takes over the LDs for the failed node. It then immediately flushes data in the write cache on other nodes in the array that belongs on the LDs it has taken over.
For more information, please refer to this link.
Thanks,
Sahana S
