Re: Query: 3par disk replacement
Hi robmarok,
As per the output, I suspect that the drive inserted into HPE 3PAR 8200 is having a compatibility issue.
1. Can you please re-check the drive compatibility with the system.
2. If it is compatible, can you try to reinsert the disk and check for the firmware upgrades
Hope this helps.!
Regards
Anil

Re: Query: 3par disk replacement
Hi robmarok,
Please reinsert the disk and run the command "admitpd". They try to upgrade the firmware on the new disk.
Then run the command "servicemag status -d" to verify that the new disk is functioning properly.
Hope this helps.!!

Re: Query: 3par disk replacement
Hi robmarok,
Looks like there may be physical issue with the FC cabling, SFP inside the magazine or there may be an issue with the new disk inserted.
Please verify the physical disk slot is working fine.
If the slot is working fine, you may have to replace the disk (which is compatable, the same model and capacity).
Do get back to us, if you need any furthur help.!
Regards
Anil
