No, only disks known to the 3PAR firmware will work.

Hi
3PAR Inform OS has its List of supported Disk Models along with fw revisions. SO you have to use the Disks which are supported by Each InformOS versions accordingly.

Hello Customer,
The showfirmwaredb command displays the current database of firmware levels for possible upgrade.
If issued without any options, the firmware for all vendors is displayed.
From the output from the above command you can choose the vendor and buy the SSD drives.
