3Par SSMC reporting - see ALL VVs and relevant data.
Hi,
hope someone can help me.
we recently upgraded to the new management console for our 3par 7440. previously I was using a manual process to generate a monthly storage report. This was very simple, I'd open the (old) console, browse to provisioning, VVs, then export the entire list of volumes to excel. I had already selected the relevant colums so I could see exactly how much data we have provisioned and was in use.
I'm looking in the new console and I can't work out how to view this information.
I can see the usage of the entire array, I can see the usage of each individual VV (one at a time) but I can't see a page which lists everything.
any ideas?
thanks
chris

You may want to look into using the remote CLI client using the "showvv -csvtable" command.
With other options depending on what you want to see.

Check out the Excel client in SSMC 3.0. It provides a quick and easy way to import the virtual volume, host, and CPG confiiguration data from SSMC into worksheets so you can then manipulate the data as you see fit.
