It is pingable all the time so no issue from network side .
I tryed to connect with putty it open and running no problem

Re: 3par storage system diconnected from SSMC3.7
Hello @owahid,
• In SSMC login screen, Select the Administrator Console check box.
• Enter the SSMC administrator username and password and login
(This is different than SSMC main console credentials)
• Select the system you want to connect.
• Go to the Actions menu and select ‘Connect’.

Re: 3par storage system diconnected from SSMC3.7
the two mgmt ports in the two controller (one port in each controller) whch should be cluster (mean have the same IP whcih is the MGMT IP of the storage system )
My question:
Which configuration should be done on the level of the network ?
Should both cables connected to the same switch ? what is the configuration of the switch ports?
both ports in the switch shoul;d be configured as port channnel ?
what if each MGMT port is connected to different switches? what is th configurtaion for ports in each switch?

Re: 3par storage system diconnected from SSMC3.7
Hi @owahid,
I think you are connecting the 3PAR system to SSMC host.
Connect through different switches for redundancy. I did not completely get your other question. But 3PAR 8000 cabling guide may be helpful for you - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c04830947

Re: 3par storage system diconnected from SSMC3.7
Hi,
Is this a new setup? Has this worked before and if yes, how long?
Your screenshot shows an "fork failure" alert (fserr 12). Fork failure means, that the 3PAR is unable to run processes, including processes that are required to do a health-check. or to communicate with SSMC.
You should open a support-case.
Alternatively you may want to try to reboot the 3PAR.
Hope that helps.

Re: 3par storage system diconnected from SSMC3.7
Many Thanks for your support
But one question :
can we just restart the controller node 0 then controller node 1 instead of restarting all the storage with each disk enclosures

I think yes, but best would be to open a support case.
This would have the advantage that you will probably get a root-cause-analysis along with a permanent fix suggestion..
