SolutionHello @qingchuan,
I doubt if the drive is supported by 3PAR 7200 system. I don't see the drive SKU in the compatibility list here - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c03560841#N1045E
If you want to give it an attempt beyond compatibility, you can try to reseat the drive. Check if the procedures followed are correct - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c03775422

Re: add disk question : Failed to get drive device type.
Hello @qingchuan,
How many cages are there in the system? And how many drives in each of the cages?
Can you please post the command output for 'showlicense'

Hello @qingchuan,
Do you still have this issue? Is it the same issue you mentioned in the other post? - https://community.hpe.com/t5/HPE-3PAR-StoreServ-Storage/admitpd-Error-The-system-is-not-licensed-for-sufficient-disks-to/td-p/7168666#.Yq7FB6hByUk
