Comparing SSD Disks from HP3PAR (QR504A) and MSA2040 (C8R20A) - extreme difference in price
Hi Guys,
I don´t know if someone has already checked the difference of SSD´s Disks for HP3PAR´s and the new MSA2040 ?
I found the HP3PAR SSD-Disk: QR504A ( HP M6710 400GB 6G SAS 2.5in MLC SSD) and the MSA2040 SSD-Disk: C8R20A (HP MSA 400GB 6G ME SAS 2.5in Ent SSD) - both disks seems to be similar, but the price difference between them is 2 - 3 times, and I didn´t find an explaination for it.
I had already a chat with HP-Sales-Team, but they also have not an answer for it. No guides, quickspecs and other pdfs are availabe, where you can find the reason for the big price difference (maybe the HP3PAR SSD Disk is 3x faster or alive 3x more durable ;-) ???
When some has the answer or had already experience with the disks and could tell me something or provide comparing materials, I would be very thankful!
