Guest File System:/altroot Partition Utilization
Hello everyone;
After Install Update and Patch For VSP in vROPs we have this alarm:
"has symptom Guest file system space usage at critical level - Guest File System:/altroot
Partition Utilization (%) 99.451 > Threshold (%) 95.0"
I now altroot location for old firmware but how i can remove this old file
note, I Cleaned Sp from "Cleanup Sp file Option" But problem exist yet

I don't think there is anything you can do other tan increasing the virtual disk itself.
If this is not working, consider to install the vSP from scratch (a couple of minutes work). Consider to restore the settings from the rescue (backup) file.

I believe HPE 3PAR Support can get "under the hood" to clean it up further. I suggest opening a support ticket.

Hi,
We Also have a a 3par with /common and /altroot/common utilization of 95%.
Upon checking it has a big file on it which is srdatarac.0 with 13gb size.
can we zero it ?
