Hours Used on 3Par Disks
Hi everyone,
I have a 7200 with (6) E7W54B installed.
The drives were just installed in the system so it may be impossible, but is there a command to see how many hours are on the drives?
I'm fairly new to 3Par and am not sure if the disks themselves keep up with their hours or if the nodes or system does.
Thanks

Re: Hours Used on 3Par Disks
Hi Jcainb13,
I understand either, you would like to know the total hours the disk run already or the life left on the disk,
Below are the commands you can use from 3par cli,
cli% showpd -i (This will give you the time the disk admitted in to the array, with this you can calculate, how long the disk is running)
cli% showpd -e ( This will report % life left on the PD)
Hope this helps,
Thanks and Regards,
