Hi HSOStorage,

Follow the below steps to renew the SSL certificate for an HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8200 storage model:

1. You can obtain a new SSL certificate from a trusted Certificate Authority (CA). Typically, this involves generating a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) and providing it to the CA. The CA will issue a new SSL certificate based on the CSR.

2. Once you have the new SSL certificate, you need to import it into the HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8200 storage system.
This can be done using the management interface or the CLI.

3. After importing the new SSL certificate, you will need to update the SSL certificate configuration on the 3PAR StoreServ Storage system. This typically involves specifying the new certificate's file path and configuring other SSL related settings.

4. Once the new SSL certificate is imported and configured, it is essential to validate its functionality.
You can do this by accessing the management interface of the 3PAR StoreServ Storage system using a web browser and verifying that the new certificate is being used and that there are no certificate related errors or warnings.

It is important to note that the specific steps and prerequisites may vary depending on the firmware version of the HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8200 and any specific requirements or recommendations from HPE.

Do get back to us, if you need further help.

Satish

Hello @HSOStorage

Depending on your needs, the pre-requisites can be to have a Certificate Authority server implemented in case you want to have a company SSL certificate installed.

A self-signed certificate can be issued easily with the following CLI command:
cli% createcert unified-server -selfsigned -keysize 2048 -days 365

Below a step-by-step procedure on how to implement a CA-signed certificate: https://www.storcom.com/implementing-ca-certificates-on-primera-ui/

Hope this helps.
