HP 3PAR 8200 // iSCSI // Warning: Host has no active paths
Let me comment you about a client in which I installed and configured a convergent card. When the VLUN is created I get the message “Warning: Host has no active paths. Template may be created but no active VLUNs will be created”. The command showvlun doesn't show the Host_WWN/iSCSI_Name and finally the VLUN is delivered to the server, but without IQN.
The commands used to configure and provision were the following:
--- SHOW PORT CONFIGURATION
Bancoex cli% showport -iscsi

Re: HP 3PAR 8200 // iSCSI // Warning: Host has no active paths
Hi Lemsibih,
There are multiple factors to be considered.
1. Could you please verify the Multipath software is installed and enabled on the host side.
2. Verify the iSCSI configuration.
3. Please check the zone configuration on the SAN side.
Do get back to us, if you need further help.
Regards,
Satish
