HPE 3PAR Host Explorer on Windows 2016 Server Core

I have used HPE 3PAR Host Explorer for some time. We are installing new servers with Windows Servier 2016 Server Core, however the installer for version Host Explorer Version 3.2.0 does not seem to run. When I call the exe file on the command line or powershell it just returns the command line or powershell line back. Nothing seems to run. I have verified that .NET 2.0 is installed and looked at the support matrix for HE but it only goes to 3.1.1. The support matrix does not call out core install specificially and the release notes also say nothing about core. Do you know if Host Explorer is supported on Windows 2016 Server Core install? We are connecting to a StoreServ 8400.

Win 2016 core is not supported by Host explorer. Only windows 2016 standard verison is supported.

HPE 3PAR Host Explorer 3.2.0 is qualified only in Windows Server 2016 Standard . Server Core is a minimal installation with no graphical interface and no management tools.
