Installing Storage Management Pack for SCOM

Hello,

i've got a question about installing the Storage Management Pack for SCOM

On this site is mentioned that the HPe Storage Management Pack must be installed on a Operations Manager Server AND on the Collection Point servers: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=sd00002101en_us&page=v14816727.html
Will it work if we install the Storage Magagement Pack software only on the Collection Point servers?

thanks for the answer. I've read the documentation, but the documentation is unclear to me.

Hi,

Firstly I have not worked on this software, but going by the documentation, I found this under "System requirements for installation""
The HPE Storage Management Pack can be installed on the collection points where only Operations Manager agents are deployed and the Operations Manager is not installed.

Known behavior: If the Management Server is a part of the Network Resource Pool/Discovery Server, then the 162 port is used by SCOM instead of the SNMP trap. Therefore alerts are not captured. Hewlett Packard Enterprise recommends a collection point server to receive alerts.
