Pairing array issue by 3par and SRM8.4 appliance

Hello, 

By new build of VMware Site Recovery Manager 8.4 appliance with Storage replication adapter 8.4.1 is problem add array pair in SRM. I know for oldiest windows SRM versions was needed to :

Validate the 3PAR Array Security on the SRM Server --> Run TPDSrm.exe validatecert -sys (e.g.)10.200.0.132 -user <username> -pass <password>

But thi s is Appliance, not windows and for appliance I not for related solution. 

Message :

SRA command 'discoverArrays' failed. Unable to connect to HPE Storage system <XX.XX.XX.XX>. Make sure you have entered the correct address for HPE Storage system, storage system is up and running, and WSAPI server is started on the storage system and check if there is any problem with your network connection.

DNS, FQDN resolving, NW ports, trafic, 3par site all has been checked. Could be problem only this invalid 3par certificate on SRM appliance ?

Had somebody the same issue ?

Hello @VladokSK,

Please enter the command 'shownet' and ensure you are connecting to to the right array.
And run the command 'showwsapi' to ensure that the WSAPI service is running.

Checked both and I connect (would like to connect) to correct array and also WSAPI service is on 3par running.

so little update, issue was in closed 3Par Api port 8080. It's opened now and communication is working.
