remove drive from array 3PAR
I am facing an issue with an HPE 3PAR storage array. The system physically contains 24 drives in a single drive enclosure (Cage 0), but the CLI reports 26 drives, including two failed drives associated with Cage 1, which does not physically exist in the configuration.
I attempted to remove the affected drives using the command showpdch -from 18, but I was unable to complete the removal.
The command output indicates that several chunklets are still associated with physical disks, including logical drive and system data allocations. Please find the relevant output below:
Pdid Chnk LdName LdCh State Usage Media Sp Cl From To
2 1534 log0.0 39 normal ld valid Y N 18:1666 ---
5 1535 log0.0 17 normal ld valid Y N 18:1667 ---
6 1506 pdsld0.1 17 normal ld valid Y N 18:1664 ---
7 1484 pdsld0.1 47 normal ld valid Y N 18:1663 ---
8 1535 pdsld0.1 5 normal ld valid Y N 18:1665 ---Could you please assist us with the following points?
Investigate why the system detects two failed drives in Cage 1, although only Cage 0 is physically present.
