Reset HP 3PAR Physical SP to factory default

You need the image for the physical SP for re-image.

It should be delivered with the system, otherwise ask HP support.

Did you try to remove the storage system from the SP and use the wizard in add storage system section?

Not sure what is written on the CD.

Probably something that points to "SP" or "service processor".

What CDs do you have?

I have :multipath for windows , system reporter, host explorer, VASA provider and info software.

Better ask HP support for help.
Registered users can download most software as ISOs.

I wonder why you have a physical SP (delivered with the system?) and vsp spftware only.

Does the SP and maintance both have items that can be factory reset. The documentation on doing a factory reset on a 3 par is very  vague. There is documentation on the out of box and deinstallation processess but it seems like the SP and maintaince would both require a factory reset??? Also, i do not have an install CD. and i know the company i work for is not going to spend money on purchasing a CD.

This probably isnt very helpful but all i know is that it is an 7200C 3PARA-SV1009 QR511-63012.
