Risk of using mixed version 3PAR node
I would like to ask about 3PAR.
I have only upgraded 1node.
What are the risks if only 1 node is upgraded and the rest of the nodes are running on the old version?
For example, will it restart over time or cause errors?
If anyone has tested this, please let us know.
Sorry for the poor writing.

Re: Risk of using mixed version 3PAR node
Hi nora,
HPE 3PAR nodes are configured as clusters or Node pairs.
Both the nodes in the Node pair should be upgraded with the same version.
If you upgrade one Node, HPE 3PAR will not allow the Node into Node pair.
So, if you want to upgrade to the new version, you should upgrade all the Nodes in the system.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Satish

Re: Risk of using mixed version 3PAR node
Thank you for your response, Satish.
I found out that the same version must be used in a node pair.
The problem occurred while upgrading the first node 1.
I just left it as is and was having trouble.
Thanks for the info.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Nora.
