Windows Host cant recongized new Storage Allocation under Enclosure

Window Host (WINDOWS SERVER 2008 R2 ENTERPRISE SP1)

HBA card drivers : v. 10.4.246.0

Under VERITAS enterprise administrator  ==>Enclosure ==>hpe3par  not showing, although luns is listed under Host HBA WWN. Also Host HBA WWN logged in hpe3par successfully

I would recommend checking the following items on the 3PAR side to isolate if the issue is host side related or 3PAR configuration.

1. Check the VLUN exports to the host by running the command

shovlun -host <hostname>

This will give you the current state of the VLUN exports to the host.

Confirm that the VLUN states are in "active" status and verify that they are the correct volumes.

2. Confirm that the array host WWN in the array are matches the HBA host WWN to ensure that the mapping is correct.

You can use the command

showhost -d

If the above items are correct then you may need to check with Veritas on how to resolve the issue especially if the host is detecting the 3PAR LUNs at the host HBA layer.
