/usr/spool/lp/model

Hello James,

HP 7470A plotters. Boy, that takes me back!

Anyway, when it comes to sending data to the old devices, with almost 100% success, I use the 'dumb' model file.

You can configure it manually with
the 'lpadmin' command or do it through SAM. Either way, the old devices did not need much in the way of print stream handling or setup.

I have tried the dumb script it did not work for me.
Sam Ha Ha this is HPUX version 5.22 Sam was not even born then, So I hope someone will answer my prayer with the actual script file.
