adding a hard drive in D250

I'm new in hp server. There is an old D250 server with a 4Gb and a 9Gb disks as the internal drive in the hard disk slot at the front panel. I'm now run out of space in the vg01 which is the 9Gb disk. I heard that D250 only support two internal disks because of the baclplate SCSI connection. Apart from upgrade to D330, is there any work around that i can add an additional 9Gb hard disk in the internal free slot? thanks in advance!

Hi,

You are right - on D250 you can have only 2 internal disks. After upgrade to D330 you will be able to use up to 5 internal disks.

Yup, you're right, only two internal disks in a 2xx.

However, you could always just attach an external drive.
