any way for upgrade GSP firmware in local ?

hi ,
im looking for a way to upgrade GSP firmware in local instead from network.
than k in advance.

HP can out and upgraded all our machines by connnecting a laptop to the console port and making the laptop an ftp server. He then ftp the files down to the GSP and then performed the upgrade.

No, he used some kind of special crossover cable.

Yes, since you have two LAN ports, one for the processor that HP-UX can see, and the other connected to the GSP, you can setup ftp (anon ftp is easiest) and just connect the GSP LAN to the same switch as the main processor (be sure to configure the GSP LAN values). Then store the GSP firmware in the ~ftp directory.
