The rp8400 that I have does not autoboot. Does anyone have the settings or steps I can perform in order to set it up to enable autoboot? Thanks.
Jimmy

Re: autoboot rp8400?
what does it do when it boots?
does it try to load a kernel?
or does it just get to a point without throwing errors and wait?

Re: autoboot rp8400?
If it's already on you've probably got a HW problem preventing booting.

Re: autoboot rp8400?
If you are at the ISL prompt following powerup:
ISL> autoboot on
Once you have booted you can use the 'setboot' command (/usr/sbin/setboot) to display and/or modify stable storage, as I indicated above.
Regards!

Re: autoboot rp8400?
The rp8400 comes standard as set to 'autoboot off'. Why this is so I am not sure. I have two of them and this is how they come standard out of the factory. We also recently has a system board replaced in an A class, and I was told by the system engineer that the boards come as default autoboot off....
As stated you can fix this through the BCH menu or using the 'setboot -b on' command.

Re: autoboot rp8400?
You can change the Autoboot-On by PF pri 2 from the Configuration Menu in BCH Mode.
Try~
