Can't boot from disks (including cdrom) after 43.43 FW upgrade

We upgraded to 43.43 in preparation for using vPARs on an rp5470. The host worked fine for several days. It was only when two vPARs were created and the vpar MON tried booting them that we could no longer boot off any of the disks. We can't boot off the cdrom either. Is there a way to reset the rp5470 so that we can boot from CD? A magic dip-switch maybe that washes away our sins?
