Can't see DLT7000 tape drive on T Class

Our T-Class server can't see
a HP DLT7000 tape drive i.e ioscan does not show the hardware.
We are using HP-UX 10.20
do we need to install a patch
for the server to recognise the tape drive?

Hello,

Check the SCSI ID you gave to the DLT drive. you may have a SCSI conflict.

At least you must include scsi, scsi2, tape2 and stape driver in your kernel.

May sound obvious and i bet you've done it anyway, but have you tried another scsi cable?
