Console hangs

I have a workstation B180L and using a character terminal on serial 1. The problem is when I install the operating system and my inittab starts the apps, I get the VUE banner and the console hangs. If I kill the apps the console comes back. I tried looking for the X11/xservers file where I can comment out the vuelogin on the console but can't find it. Can someone help or does anyone have a workaround.

X11/xservers file is for CDE only. You might want to look under /usr/vue directory structure for the config file.
You might also want to check for the vue process through ps -aef and kill that like the dtlogin process for CDE.
