DB8 male to RJ45 female Pinout Connection

Hi,

I would like to seek help from for the pinout connection between db9m and rj45f. I have some that are not connected and all 9 wires are open. I am puzzling about the colors and pins and wondering where to start?!

Any help are appreciated.

Hello Steven,

If you are connecting a serial device (printer?) with a DB9 to a DTC's RJ45 port, then you should make a cable/adaptor like this:

DB9....RJ45
2......1
3......3
5......6
