DLT 35/70 in HP9000 D Class

Anybody tried installing a Compaq DLT 35/70 into a HP9000 D Class Server?

Is this possible?

Have seen some previous posts in which Compaq drives do not always work because of the firmware. To tell if is going to work, down the box, hook it up, see if the device files get installed and if ioscan can see the device.

I know not much help but the D class will allow DLT drives. Depends on the DLT drive though.
