Fan FRU's

I had a system fan die in my N class machine, during debeg I moved it to another location, now any location that the fan was in will not come alive, is there a way to clear the memory so it will retry the fan location? I know the other fans are fine, I checked the gsp, now says 5 of 8 fans are toast.

Just to get sure??? does any other fan function in the position where the first fan failed?
I ask this question because each fan has a small SMD fuse on the systemcard. It might been blown and you have to replace it (it's located close to the fan connector)
