GSP in L class server?

Hi,
In a L-Class server, like I can discover that GSP card has and its Firmware version from HP-UX command?

Hi Jorge,

Nope - I think you can only get that info when connected to the console (LAN or serial) itself & actually enter the GSP.

Hi Jorge,

Yes. Once you are in GSP, type "he" at the GSP prompt.


You should see a line just above the "GSP Help System" indicating GSP's firmware version.

As far as I know you can only get this info from the console or LAN console

I missed that "HP-UX command" part. No. You can't get GSP's firmware version from the OS.

I think that there is only the way to find version of GSP firmare after pressing CTRL+B on the console where is GSP mode and type 'he' - help command.

No command on O/S level.

Yes, I was on the phone with HP support, they needed the firmware version and I asked the same question. They said the only way to get in is to go to your GSP and type 'he' to get the firmware version like the others have mentioned.
