Re: GSP Power-On command doesn't work
Please give the exact model of your server.
Normally for RP series servers,
You have to go to CM menu from GSP & give PE ( power Entity option ) & it will ask you whether you need to do operations on Cabinet or Cell. Respond accordingly.
Hope this will help you..
Thanks & Regards,
Shameer

Re: GSP Power-On command doesn't work
It seems that the platform monitor has disabled the "power on" on account of overtemperature condition. You need to wait for a while to cool the server down and ensure proper surrounding enviorment for tempreture etc. Refer following link.
http://docs.hp.com/en/2411/rp24xx_customer.pdf
Option "PE" is not an option in the firmware for your server.
Check the GSP -> SL as well.
As far as the GSP firmware upgrade is concerned, the latest GSP A firmware version is A.01.12. It is always recommended to have latest firmware installed in the server.
