Re: GSP Red, OS up. Help!!

Go to console

Ctrl-b

sl

read and report the error messages.

This is serious, prepare for immediate downtime.

Re: GSP Red, OS up. Help!!

Did you mean no messages on console? Any reason why you restarted the system? What's the light indication? Is the system powered on? Check console connections? Are the disks and peripherals powered on?

the rest of the system is up and running, there is nothing on the console. no ctl B does not work.

seem like the board has lost firmare or corrupt firmware.

Call HP support. You probably lost your GSP board.

Re: GSP Red, OS up. Help!!

If your OS is up and running, plan downtime. Get a new I/O card, backup your system. Make an ignite tape.

Do not reboot your box before you have all of this done.

The i/o card and gsp is on the same blade.

Don't sweat it man, its Hardware! You probibly locked up the firmware or something.

Relax, have a cup of coffee, and swap out the boards. You should be good.
