How to set user id & passwd on GSP

Hi,

I have two N-class servers. I wnat to access to my system via GSP (dial-up). currently we don't have login and password for GSP, i just enter and end-up with prompt to login to the host system.
So how do i configure the uid and passwd for GSP.

Re: How to set user id & passwd on GSP

Hi,
You enter the GSP mode with CTRL-B.
There are lots (hunderds) of threads about this issue in the forums. Do a search for "GSP", or "GSP user", or "GSP config" and you'll find everything you need.
One to get you started :

Just press Ctrl+B on local console to go into GSP mode. Type GSP>he to get online help. Then you can see how to setup uid and password for GSP.

If my memory is good, in case you forgot your login and password on the Guardian Service Processor, you can do a hardware reset on the card itself by pushing a button or a switch.
It will allow you to enter a new login and password for the GSP.
With the hope that it help you.
