HP9000 E55 Server can't find the Hard disk

HP9000 E55 Server,in bch ,can't search the disk A3352-69001,4.3GB,it can find the tape and cd-rom,and the Hard disk can be found on A180,The disk is OK,cable is OK,system board is OK.whereis the problem, E55 is too old

I can only think of SCSI IDs. Check to make sure there is no duplicate IDs.

Hi Nail

I think SCSI address is clashing with Tape or CDROM. Generally, E55 had tape at address 3, CD-ROM as 2. Set disk SCSI to 0 and re check

But I unplug the Cdrom and Tape Driver's scsi,there is nothing connect the scsi cable except the disk,can't found the disk yet,that's why?

Some older systems require a SCSI teminator to be installed on the channel. if there is an external connector, try placeing a terminator on it.

It then seems to be issue with Firmware. Unfortunately there is no support for this product now.
