Important Cable Pinouts
Hi,
Where can I get the pinouts for the rp4440 serial console cable (5814-1894) and the W-cable (A6144-63007)?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Important Cable Pinouts
The rp4440 does not have a W or M cable, just use a "null-modem" cable.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Important Cable Pinouts
hi,
well, torsten is right about the cables and the RP4440.
But you have the part number slightly wrong also. I believe it should be the 5184-1894 cable part number you are after pin outs for. This was originally shipped with the procurve switches not the 9000srs? but they work for connecting to a serial connection on a laptop i do know.
well the info is here
http://www.procurve.com/network-pro-news/articles/mar09/network-rx-mar09.htm
as for the W or M cable, I personally would'nt bother making one as they are not expensive to buy from HP.
but check the operations guide for the relevent servers, the pin outs may be in those
