Info on E-Series Server (E55)
If you browse through products/servers on the site, the following series are listed and info in available: 8xx,A,D,F,G,H,I,K,L,N
I know the E-Series is an 8xx but it is a 8x6 and the only info available is on 8x7 servers.
Why is the E-Series missing?
The E55 includes a PA7100LC CPU and the earliest HP-UX release that supported it was 9.04 ... why is info available on the G,H,I series (where the earliest HP-UX release that supported it was 8.02... older than the E55) but not the E-Series?
What am i doing wrong?
P.S. I ask because i have the opportunity to buy an E55 and i am very interested because i'll be able to practice with HP-UX on my home network.
Thanks for any info.
Ed

The E55 i have the option of buying doesn't have a cdrom or a harddrive. Only a tape drive.
